Ninja dealt first blood with a rapid attack. Aerodactyl showed it wasn't going to be beaten easily with Wing Attack, which was almost as effective as Ninja's Quick Attaxk.
Mike took the situation into account before...
a) accepting defeat at the hands of Brock.
b) switching Pokemon, sending Turtle into the battle.
c) telling Ninja to use Quick Attack again.
d) ordering Ninja to use Leer.
e) instructing his Pokemon to use Focus Energy.

Ninja Lvl 5 10/14 HP
Aerodactyl Lvl 5 9/16 HP

Brock looked on astonished as Mike conceeded defeat.
'I've decided I haven't got what it takes to defeat you right now,' said the rookie trainer.
'Alright then, but you were doing quite well in that battle,' replied a shocked Brock.
Mike took on board Brock's advice before...
a) going to train his Pokemon a bit more (state Pokemon and duration.)
b) looking for more Pokemon to catch.
c) deciding to restart the gym battle.
d) going to a Pokmon Center to heal his Pokemon.
e) visiting some more of the buildings in Pewter City.

PS Are you alright to do Claud's RPG aswell seeing as he's in Hoenn?

OK, I'll do Claud's RPG then.

With the training thing, you do that to raise you're Pokemon's level. So you could either say 'train for an hour' or 'train for 4 levels' or something like that. If you wanted your Pokemon back to full health, you'd have to go to a Pokemon Center and then train after that.
I hope that has resolved the issue. :)

Mike...
a) trained his Pokemon (state Pokemon and duration, as explained above.)
b) went to a Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon.

Mike gave his Pokemon to Nurse Joy, who nursed them back to full health. With his Pokemon ready for action...
a) returned to Pewter Gym for another attempt.
b) looked to recruit some new wild Pokemon for his team.
c) went to strengthen his Pokemon by training (state Pokemon and duration.)
d) explored a little more of the city of Pewter.

Mike re-entered Pewter Gym looking slightly more confident.
'You're back again, then?' noticed Brock. 'Want to challenge me?'
Mike nodded keenly before Brock sent out his Aerodactyl. Mike examined the Pokemon once more before...
a) sending out Turtle.
b) sending out Ninja.
c) insanely conceeding defeat.
